Kuulas Rain

The iittala Toikka Kuulas Rain wears iittala's cool and comforting color for 2014 with effortless elegance. The peaceful greyish-blue hue is permanently a part of the mouth-blown glass rather than painted on after production, which allows it to never fade and draw you in with such a dreamy depth. The bigger sister of the popular puffball birds, Kuulas has the same plump yet poetic body that fans find so endearing. With her head burrowed in her body and her petite tail relaxed, she will sit snugly on your windowsill or encased with your other handcrafted birds. Wherever the iittala Toikka Kuulas Rain is displayed, her soft features will leave a strong impact on all who lay eyes on her.The birds of Oiva Toikka's 2014 collection are individually mouth-blown by the master glassblowers at iittala’s glassworks shop. Each handcrafted iittala Toikka Kuulas Rain carries the signature “O. Toikka” on its base to ensure authenticity.
