A nifty tool with an inspirational design, the MG35 Tea Infuser by Alessi is based around a famous kettle with a bird-shaped whistle by designer Michael Graves. This stainless steel tea infuser has a small grip that recalls the shape of the famous kettle’s whistle; a bird with its wings open. The grip is made from silicone, as is the closure at the base of the cone that keeps the tea leaves in the cone during infusion. A very attractive accessory for any tea-lover’s countertop.
